Playroll - Make your benefit selections

You have a ZAR 1,000 monthly benefits budget to spend on health and wellbeing. You can choose from the options below, and any unused balance will go to your Happl Flex Allowance (accesable via Virtual Visa Card & Reimbursement).

Playroll contributes up to ZAR 1,000 toward your Discovery Health plan each month.
If your chosen plan costs more (e.g. ZAR 1,350), the extra ZAR 350 will be deducted from your salary.
Plan options range from comprehensive cover to cost-effective Smart or KeyCare plans.
Smart Plans include unlimited GP visits in the Smart network (small co-payments apply), hospital cover at Smart hospitals, day-to-day basics like dental and eye checks, and full cover for chronic medicine
Other Plans (Saver, Comprehensive, Core, KeyCare) vary in cover level, savings accounts, and hospital access

If you’d like to add Vitality (Discovery’s wellness programme), you’ll need to take Life Insurance (minimum cost ZAR 450 from your budget).

Vitality options:

Active Plan – ZAR 145/month

Full Suite – ZAR 399/month

If you don’t use all your ZAR 1,000 benefit budget, the remainder will be credited to your digital card for spending within selected categories.
